Silent reading is a great way to start your class period, as a class warm-up. It's so integral to my class, that we do it at least 3 times per week if not more!
Good organization can meke you feel more on-top of things, less stressed and more prepared. On the contrary, poor organization can wreak havoc on a daily basis, cause exhaustion, frustration, burnout, and increase your stress level.
Creating a class mascot is a fun activity for both you and your students. Once you have this mascot created, it can be used over and over again in story after story. Join us and learn how you and your students can make your own class mascot!
Show & tell is a great activity that allows students to show who they are while using the target language in a less stressful way. It's also a great way to build classroom community.

Exit Tickets are a great form of formative assessment at the end of your daily lesson. I love exit tickets because they give tangible evidence of what students did or learned in class.
